About Greg Spurrier

Greg Spurrier is the owner of Rujubu Consulting. After a successful career developing complex embedded systems, he decided in late 2005 that he’d had enough of programming in C and learned Ruby. He hasn’t looked back since.

He began using Ruby on Rails around the same and has been using it professionally since March of 2006 when he co-founded My Digital Life, Inc. As MDL’s chief software architect, Greg led the design and development of two Rails-based systems: a REST-based back-end platform and a consumer facing application that accessed the platform via ActiveResource.

Greg became a full-time consultant and formed Rujubu Consulting in August of 2007.
